His Daughters Can Endure

Hello dear girls, I hope today’s message fills you with so much hope and ultimately leads you into more adoration and devotion to our King Jesus!

Let’s jump in. Today we are exploring this short but deeply profound verse.

“Love endures all things.” 1 Corinthians 13:7

I continue to hear from like-minded believers running hard after Christ that the Christian life is not a sprint but a marathon. Therefore, we need endurance to endure all things.

If we are sprinting, moving at the pace that the world says, we will not be able to endure all things. It’s only the Holy Spirit in us that allows us to endure.

Hebrews 10:36 says, “Patient endurance is what you need now, so that you will continue to do God’s will. Then you will receive all that he has promised.”

Dear friends, God is love and when He sent Jesus to Earth in His redemption story for humanity, Jesus endured all things so we as His kids, empowered by the Holy Spirit, can endure all things.

As we are in relationship with God, we hear His still small voice, are strengthened by Him, and given what we need to endure in this world.

As we are with God, we are refreshed, we are renewed, and we are given what we need to continue to run the race marked out for us with perseverance.

You may think if I just try hard enough, read the Bible enough, pray enough, serve enough, I will be strong enough to endure all things. Oh girls, please learn from me, that is not the life Jesus has come to give you. While those are all good things that he calls us to do, the weight of our endurance does not rest on our shoulders but his.

Listen to this hope! “For God is working in you, giving you both the desire and the power to do what pleases him.” (Philippians 2:13)

It truly is Christ in us, the Hope of glory, who gives us what we need every single day including the ability to love like He loves and to endure all things.

We don't strive. We abide.

We are going to be talking about the importance of resting in God, and from productivity in the upcoming weeks, but for now remember that Jesus said in John 15:4 says, “Abide in me and I will abide in you.” Later in John 15:5b, Jesus says, “For apart from me, you can do nothing.

Girls, do you see it? As we spend time abiding in Christ, He will abide in us, and He will give us what we need to endure all things.

Dear ones, I would encourage you to spend some time today just being with God, looking at nature, listening to the birds sing, simply enjoying time with Him. Maybe this is going to a park, on a hike, or even in your backyard. Just be with Him, dear ones.

*The more you spend time just being with Him, the more I truly believe He will woo you to Himself and will lead you into how to love those around you with the same type of love that He has for you.

Jesus told us in John 13:35, “Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples.” As we experience his deep love for us, we can love others with that same love and because we are His daughters we can endure all things!
