Hi dear girls, I think it’s good to stop right here in our series and talk about how without knowing how deeply we are loved and being empowered by the Holy Spirit we can’t love people with a
1 Corinthians 13 type love.
On our own, we can’t love people with a 1 Corinthians 13 type of love. It’s only the Holy Spirit in us that allows us to love people in this way. The Bible says in Ezekiel that God literally gives us a new heart!
“I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.” (Ezekiel 36:26)
And girls, from my experience it’s through us knowing how deeply we are loved by God as His Beloved that the Holy Spirit empowers us to love people the way God loves us.
“And I pray that you being rooted and established in love, may have the power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and deep is the love of Christ.” (Ephesians 3:17-18)
You see girls, before we can love others, we have to know and experience God’s perfect love ourselves! Because God loves you, dear girls, He wants you to know who you are and how deeply you are loved by Him.
As God’s daughter, this is who you are: a daughter of the King.

I am a child of God. (John 1:12)
I am tenderly loved by God. (Jeremiah 3:13)
I am completely forgiven. (Col 1:14)
I am fearfully and wonderfully made. (Psalm 139:14)
I am Christ’s friend. (John 15:5)
I am God’s workmanship. (Ephesians 2:10)
Girls, this is truly who you are in Christ. He chose you before the foundation of the world. Let that soak in. When you know and truly believe this, this is when we can love others with the same love God has loved us.
“For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight.”
Bask in God’s love for you, dear girls, and as you do, you will be able to love and see others as God does!
