Hello sweet sisters in Christ, today we are going to dive a little deeper into the Hope Christ gives us as his daughters.
Hebrews 6:19 says, “Therefore, we who have fled to him for refuge can have great confidence as we hold to the hope that lies before us. This hope is a strong and trustworthy anchor for us souls.”
Friends, this is hope not based on our circumstances, culture, or even how we feel, but it is rooted and grounded in Christ through him dwelling in your heart.
Ephesians 3:17 says, “Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down deep into God’s love and keep you strong.” Savor this. Soak it in. Believe this dear one because as you trust in him, he will do it.
Dear ones, in order to be rooted and grounded in Christ’s love, you have to be convinced of God’s love for you as His precious daughter.
Sweet sister, can you honestly say like Paul said in Romans 8:38, “And I am convinced that NOTHING can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor worries about tomorrow - not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love.” (caps added)
*If you can’t honestly say this, please hear me loud and clear, God is not disappointed in you and there’s nothing wrong with you sweet girl.
I truly believe He is offering you an invitation to come close and bask in his love. He wants to lavish his love on you and show you how much he loves you as your perfect Father, unlike any earthly father you’ve ever known.
Let this scripture settle into your heart, dear one. Psalm 103:13 says, “The LORD is like a father to his children, tender and compassionate to those who fear him.”
Listen to what Jeremiah 31:3 says, “I have loved you, my people with an everlasting love. With unfailing love I have drawn you to myself.” The love of God our perfect Father is unlike any love we have ever known and he is drawing you to himself.
And sister, I know you’ve probably heard John 3:16 thousands of times, but as you read this ask God to help you more fully grasp his deep love for you. “For this is how God loved the world: he gave his one and only son so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.” This is how much God loves you and every human being who has or will ever live.
Dear one, if you aren’t deeply convinced of God’s love for you, I would encourage you to stop right now and from a posture of humility, ask the Lord to reveal His love to you in a real tangible way. He loves to show us His perfect, unchanging, never-ending, unfathomable love.
