The Road I Wish I Had Taken.

March 25, 2017

None of us do it all right - but there are many paths ahead and navigating them can make a big difference. So push play, listen and hear about that popular road most people are taking, but there may just be another way...

If this encouraged you or God taught you something through this, we would love to hear from you! Comment below or email us at connect@GL4G.com.

>>> LET'S GO DEEPER (There's so much more to say!) <<<

>  Truthfully, there is SO much more to be said as we listen back to this. So we encourage you to let this be a conversation starter. A discussion between you and God... A discussion between you and a Christian mentor. What is it that God wants to guide your heart and ears to hear or seek out?

>  I feel that I need to add the bigger impact of the road followed to sexual intimacy before marriage. Yes, a result can be a young mother whose childhood was cut short and has to take on those responsibilities. Are those lives precious? Of course! Can that situation be redeemed? Most definitely. But it is harder. ...But a consistent impact of that choice is something given away that was designed to be a bond between husband and wife and there are ramifications of that. Also the sin of disobeying God has a direct consequence on our relationship with God. (continue below)

>  I just want to say, when you have a heart for God it's not about living to avoid the consequences. It's living in a relationship with God, your Father, and you follow and listen to Him because there is love and trust there.

>  There is bad and good news from today's devotional... Isaiah 53:6 says, "All of us like sheep have gone astray. Each one of us has turned to his own way; But the Lord has caused the iniquity of us all to fall on Him."

The bad news: We all mess up. The Good News is God has paid the ultimate price for our sin through the death and resurrection of His Son, Jesus. And because of that there is grace and forgiveness - thank God. We will all take some turns or roads that we realize weren't the best. But if you will be on guard for the tactics of the enemy and truly seek to follow God, maybe you can avoid some delays and heartaches in getting to the destination God has for you.

Much love to you all and let's help one another out on this journey of faith.

xoxo
