![Oh gosh...I don't even understand love. It one of those things I am so afraid of and want nothing to do with, but that the same time it's the only thing I want. weird huh? Wow what is my love story? It has always been hard for me to fathom selfless love. It kinda is strange to think that God is love and in a sense when we love other people we are showing them God. I know I have never been "in love" with someone. I don't even know if there is such thing as being "in love" as opposed to just loving someone for who they are, mess ups and all. There have been a couple/very few people I can honestly say that I have had a selfless love for. I know that may sound bad,.but it's kinda true..I don't have kids or a husband..you know.
Right now the greatest love story I can tell you is God's for me. I'm too young to have a super cute love story, but I guess this is so much more important. I guess I'll just say the way I feel cause that's usually what you do in a love story...describe the other person. So here I go. Well it all kinda started for me this year; I had a "crush" (don't take me literally) on Jesus forever. I liked Him and He seemed like a pretty nice Guy, but I never really pursued the relationship like I should have if I would have known how great He really was. It was this year, I think, I really started falling for Him. I started playing music for Him and writing songs for Him. I think He really liked them cause I could feel His love for me and tell Him how important He was to me when I sang them to Him. I think It was then that I had found my way to tell Him how I really felt. and I realized I had missed out so much by just having a crush all those years, because love was so much better! What is even better is that He doesn't care if I mess up the lyrics to my songs or play the wrong chords, or even if my voice cracks, I think He thinks it's cute :] but that is just the surface of it all! Sometimes I'm a total jerk and blame Him for stuff that was my fault, or I won't be completely honest with Him...but I'm pretty sure He knows when I'm not. Also, I won't talk to Him or spend time with Him for days, sometimes weeks at a time! and you know what He does when I decide to go on a date with Him or hang out? He holds His arms open for me and is always happy to see me! He never even asks me why I haven't talked to Him in so long! When I start to tell Him I'm sorry He says he forgot it ever happened and loves me anyway! The feeling of being loved completely is so beautiful. I love Him so much I can't even explain it, I get all warm and excited telling you this, But that is my only love story and I guess I would say I'm in love. It's kinda cool to have Jesus as my first love. I think it's a safe place to start cause He is consistent, and faithful, and will never leave me, He is so strong, but very gentle. He is patient and funny (just look at the giraffe He made) and I could go on talking about Him for hours! I simply do not know what I would do without Him:]
